At Pleasant Hill Christian Church, we desire to see each child come to know the Lord in a saving way, through personal faith in the shed blood, burial and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christ said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” We believe and teach Christ as the only means of salvation.
We also seek to provide a Biblical foundation for each child through the teaching of the Word of God, to set each child on a path towards Spiritual Growth and maturity, and to provide opportunities for the children to serve the Lord.
I Timothy 4:12
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
We believe young people can be saved, and be an example in this world and we encourage them to do so.

| Nursery Through age 2 We make available a nursery for every service of the church. At the earliest of ages we realize the need to embed the Word of God in the hearts of those to whom we minister.
The Pee Wee Club provides Biblical teaching in a creative way that the children can comprehend. They also enjoy crafts, exciting stories, as well as music that glorifies God. On occassion, they minister to the adults through song. | Patch the Pirate For ages 6-11 we have Patch the Pirate Club. Each week there is an exciting story with a moral lesson to be learned. There is a brand new theme each month for the children to ponder. For example, one month we studied how to choose good friends. Friends are important for the Bible says, “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” Proverbs 13:20
Each month there is a memory verse and new song to go along with the theme. The children also enjoy a quiet time book that allows them to spend time in God’s Word each day, with a neat activity page for each week. To learn more about Patch the Pirate, click on "Patch's" picture above.
Teen Club Ages 12-High School |
For ages 12 thru high school we have the teen club. Again here we stress Biblical Teaching, music, games and activities. Through the ministry of song and puppetry we are excited about spreading the message of God’s Word. We make sure the teens are provided with devotions, memory verses, and an encouragement and opportunity to serve God. |
